Pinball Open 2008 | About The Event

The first Welsh Classic Pinball Open takes place on the 21st of September 2008 and is a competition played on early solid state, pre dot-matrix machines.

Held in South Wales at Ochran Mill, members of the South West Pinball League will already be familiar with the veune following a tense finish battle to secure a place in the League Finals

The event has been approved by the IFPA so will be eligible for World Pinball Player Ranking points.

We have a rather unique format that unlike a standard knockout guarantees all players to play several different machines. Because of this we would ask that players staying over night or living nearby notify us at the time of registration so that the first round can take place as early as possible.

The first segment of Round 1 takes place at 10:30am with a later group for those travelling from further away.

Abergavenny Food Festival is also taking place on the 20th/21st of September so why not stay overnight (and join us for a few beers) and make a weekend of it.

Entry to the competition costs £5. Entry for spectators is £2, child spectators are free.
